Scotty's Lawn Care has been in business since 1988. Scott had worked for Chemlawn prior to starting his own business. They started with approximately 400 customers and have grown to about 5000 today, including residential and commercial properties. One of the unique things about their business is their employee retention. The average employee works for them for about 10 years, however some of them have been with the company for over 20 years. Their favorite thing about doing business in Manhattan is the great people and the hometown environment. One of the business accomplishments they are most proud of is that in 33 years they have done very little advertising. They rely on their good work and customer referrals to continue to grow. They are most proud when they start servicing the kids of the customers that helped them start their business all those years ago.
