The Manhattan Park District encompasses an area larger than the 36 square mile township.
They currently have several parks and tot lots, with the main park being Central Park, located
behind the downtown area on Park Road. Two new facilities, the Round Barn Farm and the Program Center have recently been renovated to accommodate our residents with more programming and recreation. The park district’s main objective is to provide the best quality of recreation, education, parks and open space to improve the quality of life for its residents of all ages in Manhattan.
