Manhattan Business of the Year

The 2010 Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year went to State Farm Manhattan, The McCormack Agency, James M. McCormack, Agent.  In just 2 short years, owners Jim and Stacy McCormack have jumped in to the Manhattan and New Lenox communities showcasing their passion for supporting their local towns.

Manhattan Citizen of the Year

Our 2010 Citizen of the Year is Ms. Patricia Curran of Operation Care Package.  With Donna Chellios of DMW Sales as her “Vanna” sidekick, Pat was able to show the audience how many supplies go into each care package and how much support is needed from the community to help make a soldier’s day a bit brighter.  The amount of volunteering that Pat and crew donate to make this program such a success is unbelievable.  For more information, please visit www.operationcarepackages.org.
